Large hand thrown stoneware mug made in my studio. Clear glazed inner with a reactive and drippy pink variegated glaze running into a stain white and brown speckle base, with a handle perfect for 3-4 fingers. Hand made from start to finish in my own studio, and fired in my own kiln. Large capacity of 350ml, perfect for tea or coffee!
All of my handmade ceramics are made by myself in my home studio in Bristol, most wheel thrown but I do hand build on occasion. I use only stoneware clay, fired to vitrification, which makes them durable and suitable for everyday use. I use a combination of commercial glazes and my own formulations to create my glaze effects, which I believe are unique to me.
I cannot guarantee with certainty that continued use in a microwave or dishwasher would not affect the colour or surface, so please do so at your own risk. I recommend hand washing to keep your pieces beautiful.
