Large hand thrown stoneware mugs made in my studio, 2 available. White glazed inner with a rainbow and crystalline gold glaze over satin black, and a handle perfect for 2-3 fingers. Hand made from start to finish in my own studio, and fired in my own kiln. Large capacity of 400ml, perfect for tea, coffee or hot chocolate! I have tried to photograph it in a range of lighting conditions so that you can get a good sense of the colours.
All of my handmade ceramics are made by myself in my home studio in Bristol, most wheel thrown but I do hand build on occasion. I use only stoneware clay, fired to a maximum temperature of 1260C, which makes them durable and suitable for everyday use. I use a combination of commercial glazes and my own formulations to create my glaze effects, which I believe are unique to me.
I cannot guarantee with certainty that continued use in a microwave or dishwasher would not affect the colour or surface, so please do so at your own risk. I recommend hand washing to keep your pieces beautiful.
