Large hand thrown stoneware mug made in my studio. White glazed inner with a reactive blue glaze (it has pale pik accents which are hard to photograph) over matte black, and a handle perfect for 3-4 fingers. Hand made from start to finish in my own studio, and fired in my own kiln. Large capacity of 375ml, perfect for tea or coffee!
All of my handmade ceramics are made by myself in my home studio in Bristol, most wheel thrown but I do hand build on occasion. I use only stoneware clay, fired to a maximum temperature of 1260C, which makes them durable and suitable for everyday use. I use a combination of commercial glazes and my own formulations to create my glaze effects, which I believe are unique to me.
I cannot guarantee with certainty that continued use in a microwave or dishwasher would not affect the colour or surface, so please do so at your own risk. I recommend hand washing to keep your pieces beautiful.
