Large hand carved stoneware mug made in my studio. This mug is slipcast using a mould to enable two colours of clay to be used in layers, and then carved through by hand to show the underneath colour. There are three to choose from, each with a different pattern carved into the outer layer. The colour comes from the clay, after the bisque firing a glossy clear glaze is applied all over. Handle sized for 1 or 2 fingers.
